Fire Compartmentation of Buildings Modern buildings have increased passive fire protection requirements. A passive fire protection installation ensures proper operation in a state of emergency, without affecting the functionality or aesthetics of the space. The installation may include fire curtains, fire roller shutters and fire doors, rated up to 120 min. The use of standardised products with factory certification does not preclude the installation of partitions in custom dimensions of with custom specifications. Therefore, a partition may meet the fire regulations, but be made of glass or have a wood lining. The doors may have standardised dimensions or be custom-made single-leaf doors, double-leaf doors, sliding doors, with slots, glass doors, etc.
