The KEMETA SA service teams are fully trained and qualified to test, service and repair fire protection systems. Our long experience and specialised knowledge in building maintenance and personnel safety allow us to provide the best possible solution. KEMETA SA can provide consultancy services and assessments on the upgrade of existing systems.

The regular inspection and maintenance of fire protection systems is extremely important and an essential requirement of applicable laws and regulations.

The KEMETA SA technical teams are able to assess and measure key points in a system, including the inspection of:

Annual Responsibilities of Building Owners.

Fire Regulations 14 and 15 specify how Building Owners must organise fire safety teams and the quality requirements for the materials to be used. It is also compulsory to keep a maintenance logbook for the fire protection systems and a fire protection team training logbook (issued by the Fire Service).

The KEMETA SA engineers will visit your facilities, record all installed systems and assess them, based on the standards and guidelines of the manufacturer. Specifically, they will determine whether:

  • The installed fire protection systems meet the fire regulations and are manufactured in accordance with international and Greek standards.
  • Any modifications to the building affect the fire protection and safety systems.
  • The readiness and condition of the systems is as stipulated in applicable laws and regulations.
    At the end of the process, we deliver a fully documented report file, with photographs.

Report file

We identify and record the fire protection measures and means, and the standards they should be designed to. The file includes a list of any non-compliances, deficiencies and manufacturing defects.
